God 1^st + Good Stewardship = Multiplication ^x  R

Then a man came from Baal Shalisha, and brought the man of God (Elisha)bread of the FIRSTfruits, twenty loaves of barley bread, and newly ripened grain in his knapsack. And he (Elisha)said, “GIVE IT TO THE PEOPLE, THAT THEY MAY EAT.” But his servant said, “WHAT? Shall I set this before one hundred men?” He said again, “Give it to the people, that they may eat; for thus says the Lord: ‘THEY SHALL EAT AND HAVE SOME LEFT OVER.’ ” So he set it before them; and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the Lord. (2 Kings 4:42-44)

MULTIPLICATION HAPPENS IN GOD’S TIME AND PLACE

“So they departed to a deserted place.. they did not even have time to eat”

“When the day was now far spent”

• God always sets time and place for your breakthrough

MULTIPLICATION INVOLVES YOU

“YOU give them something to eat” (vv37)

• What’s in your hands?
• Multiplication involves you. Stewardship matters!

MULTIPLICATION HAPPENS WHEN THERE’S COMPASSION

“When He (Jesus) came out, saw a great multitude and was MOVED with COMPASSION for them, because they were like SHEEP NOT HAVING A SHEPHERD” (Mark 6:34)

• The miracle of multiplication began when Jesus was move by compassion
• Multiplication happens when you’re moved by compassion

Question: Where did the Multiplication miracle take place? In Jesus’ hands or the disciples’

And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. SO THEY ALL ATE AND WERE FILLED.  And they took up TWELVE BASKETS full of fragments and of the fish.  Now those who had eaten the loaves were about FIVE THOUSAND MEN. (Mark 6:41-44)

• Multiplication starts when you place what you have into the master’s hand. When He hands it back you, you will experience MULTIPLICATION.
