How do you build your family? God’s Plan, God’s Name, God’s Anointing

1. GOD’S PLAN

FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU,” says the Lord. “They are plans for GOOD and not for disaster, to give you a FUTURE and a HOPE. (Jeremiah 29:11)

• God says, I have a plan. Not just any plan- A good plan to give us hope
• There’s hope. Hope that anchors our faith that God will keep His promise
• You and your household shall be saved- Part of God’s plan
• That promise was certainly true for Rahab the prostitute.
• Rahab is part of the genealogy of Jesus
• Don’t discredit the outcast, God has a plan for him/her

2. GOD’S NAME

THE NAME OF THE LORD IS A STRONG FORTRESS; the godly run to him and are safe. (Pro18:10)

• Your family needs to be a place of safety where God’s name is everywhere
• A Place where the Name of Lord is called upon all the time

3. GOD’S ANOINTING

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide UNDER THE SHADOW (ANOINTING) OF THE ALMIGHTY. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” (Psalm 91:1-2)

• God’s anointing provide that covering roof over your family
• Without His anointing, His covering you can be exposed to the elements.
• But under His shadow, His Anointing: this is what God says:

For I will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.  I will cover you with MY feathers. I will shelter you with MY wings. MY faithful promises are your armor and protection. ⁵ Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.⁶ Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. ⁷ Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. (Psalm 91:3-7)
