God is calling you to a place greater than where you are right now. Keep Moving!

“Occupy or do business till I come” (Luke 19:13)

Opening Scripture: 2 Samuel 5:1-10

• How long David can you stay here in Hebron, when I have called you to something greater: Jerusalem?
• Why settle for where you are when God has something greater?
• There’s a bigger picture and the canvas here is simply not big enough for what God wants to paint in your life

Moving to a greater place with God will require 3 things:

MOVE WITH GODLY RESPONSE

We walk by FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT [living our lives in a manner CONSISTENT with our confident belief in God’s promises]— (2 Corinthians 5:7)

• Reflect on your own situation. Are you responding to what you see or to what God says?

MOVE WITH GODLY WISDOM

If you need (Godly)wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. (James 1:5)

• The enemy has a weakness and only Godly Wisdom can reveal that weakness
• Keep asking God for His wisdom!
• Reflect on your own situation. Are you moving with Godly wisdom?

 MOVE WITH GODLY PRAISE

I will exalt you, my God and King, and PRAISE YOUR NAME FOREVER AND EVER.  I will PRAISE YOU EVERY DAY; yes, I will PRAISE YOU FOREVER. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness. (Psalm 145:1-3)

• Praise God will clear your heart, renew your spirit and keep your motives in check
• Reflect on your own situation. How is your praising?

• What is the Holy Spirit saying to you through this message?
