We do LIFE in COMMUNITY and not in SOLITUDE. God has designed us for relationships; we were never intended to do life alone. WE GROW IN CIRCLES NOT IN ROWS. We believe that through intentional connections in the church, we grow as believers. WE CANNOT GROW UNLESS WE ARE PLANTED!

Opening Scripture: Those who are PLANTED IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD Shall FLOURISH in the courts of our God. ¹⁴ They shall still BEAR FRUIT IN OLD AGE; They shall be FRESH and FLOURISHING. (Psalm 92:13-14)

To plant something you need soil

• The soil can be referred to as the church, the house of the Lord
• I believe inside every believer here today God has placed dreams, visions, purpose, destiny
• I believe that the soil is the environment where those dreams, purpose can be unlocked

“Blessed is the man who TRUSTS IN THE LORD, And whose hope is the Lord. ⁸ For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which SPREADS OUT ITS ROOTS by the river, And will NOT FEAR WHEN HEAT COMES;
But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

1. YOU WILL HAVE ROOTS (“Which spreads out its roots by the river”)

• The giant sequoia tree. Largest living thing on earth and the tallest trees in the world. Height (30 story building- 300ft) Width (3 story wide-30ft ).Now you would think that these giants must have a very deep root system. You would be wrong. Their root system are actually only 4 to 5 ft deep. The secret of their strength is not how deep their roots are but how wide their reach. Up to 150 ft from where they are planted
• Depth does not matter as much as the spread.

2. 2. YOU WILL HAVE PEACE IN THE HEAT (“And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green. And will not be anxious in the year of drought)

• Heat is coming in terms of offense, unforgiveness, jealousy, critical spirit.
• HEAT is anything the enemy can use to STEAL the credibility of the soil, KILL the roots and DESTROY your dreams
• In that peace you will be fresh, alive, green .
• Because planted / connected to the source of life – You will be UNFAZED BY CHANGING TIMES, CHANGING SEASONS

3. 3. YOU WILL NEVER STOP BEARING FRUITS (Nor will cease from yielding fruit)

• THE KEY TO BEAR FRUITS IS TO BE PLANTED- JOHN 15:5
• “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who ABIDES IN ME, and I IN HIM, BEARS MUCH FRUIT; for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

CONCLUSION

• Here’s what God is telling us: WE CANNOT GROW AND BEAR FRUITS IF WE ARE NOT PLANTED IN THE HOUSE OF GOD
