“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” (Psalm 119:105 NLT)
No longer do we have to stumble through life in darkness, fear and confusion.

#3 LOOK UP
“I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!” (Psalm 121:1-2 NLT)
- Looking up is a posture of expectation.
- When you look up, you see a hand of God reaching down and pulling you up.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. (Psalm 40:2 NIV)
Looking up also reminds us of Christ our Redeemer:
“Look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:28 NKJ)
- When we look up: We see hope, We see promise, We see eternity, We see Jesus

“What do you see, Jeremiah?” “I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied. (Jeremiah 1:11 NIV)
- In the natural Jeremiah, did not see that. What he saw was utter destruction of his country.
God was reminding Jeremiah: There’s more than meets the eye- can you see it?
- Beyond the natural, Jeremiah saw the branch of an almond tree.
“You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.” (Jeremiah 1:12 NIV)
Regardless of what’s happening around us in the natural, our God is watching over His Word, His purpose for your life, His calling for your life. There will be a performance- His word fulfilled.
