BLOOM where you are PLANTED!

Message Focus: VISION.

• Vision is ability to see what God wants you to see in the place WHERE He has planted you!
• Vision is also the ability to know WHY God has planted you there.
• Vision is the sweet spot where: THE WHERE and THE WHY meet

POINT #1: VISION IS THE MOST VALUABLE THING

“Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18 KJV)

• If we cannot figure out THE WHY, we perish.
• Perish means to die in an untimely way.
• That is to die without fulfilling the destiny or purpose

Our WHY at Oceans United has 2 parts:

1. To serve our community by being God’s hands and feet, His voice and light. (Mission Statement)
2. To share God’s borderless, and unconditional love to all people with the hope of seeing their lives saved, transformed, healed, empowered, and serving in the areas God has called them! (Vision Statement)

You are part of that WHY?

POINT #2: VISION NEEDS A VESSEL

“Here I am! Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8 NKJ)

• What is a vessel? A vessel is simply someone who is willing to stay planted long enough to discover the WHY!
• God is always looking for a vessel to carry forth His vision.

POINT #3: VISION MUST BE VISIBLE

“Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. (Habakkuk 2:2 NKJ)

• A vision is always moving ahead!
• The longer you stay planted, THE WHERE and THE WHY will connect.

I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says (Habakkuk 2:1 NLT)
