TABLE TALK: TRUSTING GOD

Matthew 14:22-33

• Famous passage- Jesus walked on water. But He wasn’t the only one who walked on water.
• You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore
• To cross the ocean you have to step out
• Stepping out requires one major element: TRUST

There are 2 things we must do in order to develop trust with God

ALIGN – TRUSTING GOD REQUIRES PROPER ALIGNMENT WITH GOD

 “ Trust in the Lord with all of your heart. And lean not unto your own understanding. In all of your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

• Making sure our soul (mind will emotions LINE up with what God is doing) otherwise fear, doubt, and unbelief will present us from leaving the comfort of the shore.
• Don’t allow the comfort that you know rob you of your fullest potential and destiny!!

MOVE – MOVE IN THE DIRECTION THAT GOD IS CALLING YOU

•  Faith is movement in the areas God is taking you. You may not know EVERYTHING. But do that ONE thing that you KNOW you are to do.
• Don’t allow the DETAILS to stop you from seeing God’s bigger better picture. “Broad strokes”
• Isaiah 30:21: Your ears shall hear a word behind you saying , this is the way walk in it”

 CONCLUSION

• Guys a NEW LIFE is being birthed!! New beginnings! Spread wide your tents. Your hearts. Your expectations.
